I've officially begun my Rotary Machine phase. It could be permanent...so it might not be a phase at all.
So far, the extremely light weight machine (3 ounces) is very friendly. My wrist never hurts and my line work has become far more consistent. I'm still learning to shade, but solid color and line work seems to be much easier. Healing doesn't seem to be any different at all.
After a few months of this, if everything continues to go as well as it seems to be going, I'll probably even try out some expensive rotary machines. I'd love to try a Swash Drive machine as well as a genuine Swiss Machine.
Until then, I'm enjoying the hell out of my cheap, Swiss knock-off. I'm even going to be attempting some disposable tubes again...now that the machine weight isn't such an issue!
